Research Support

For CSDP-Affiliated Faculty and Graduate Students

CSDP encourages scholarly engagement among all members of the CSDP community, and offers resources to support this goal: CSDP faculty working with CSDP graduate students as research assistants are offered matching funds; CSDP faculty, fellows, and graduate students can propose conferences and workshops on a topic related to the study of democratic politics, which CSDP will fund and help organize; CSDP graduate students are eligible to apply for CSDP research grants to fund work that will result in publication or dissertation improvement; and CSDP graduate students receive annual grants for travel to a professional conference at which they are presenting.

These programs are described in more detail on the specific page devoted to each. For more information about research support provided by the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics, email csdp@princeton.edu or call 609-258-6493.
