Lucas is a PhD student in the Department of Politics interested in quantitative methods, computational social science, and American politics. He earned a BS in Statistics and Data Science and a BA in Political Science at UCLA, where he received highest honors for his senior thesis analyzing the relationship between election misinformation on Twitter and donor behavior in the 2020 US presidential election.
