Gustavo Novoa is a quantitative political scientist studying local politics, race and ethnicity, and political polarization in the U.S. He completed his PhD at Columbia University and holds an MPP from the Harris School at the University of Chicago. He is broadly interested in political and economic inequality as they manifest at the city level, and how political institutions fail to remedy them.
