Staszak Article Named Best by APSA Law and Courts

Sarah Staszak's article, “Privatizing Employment Law: The Expansion of Mandatory Arbitration in the Workplace,” published in Studies in American Political Development, has won the award for best journal article published in the field of law and courts in 2020. In announcing the award, the Law and Courts section of the American Political Science Association noted, "The [award] committee was impressed by the article’s depth of detail, offering a thorough political, legal, and institutional history that finds the wholesale transformation of arbitration."

Sarah Staszak is Research Scholar, Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and CSDP faculty associate at Princeton University. Her forthcoming book on the subject will be published by University of Chicago Press.
