FiveThirtyEight Features Frymer Research

Sept. 12, 2016

Paul Frymer is quoted, and his work referenced, in an article in FiveThirtyEight, Black Voters Are So Loyal That Their Issues Get Ignored. Frymer discusses his findings that politicians focus their attention on white swing voters and ignore the concerns of black voters because they consistently and overwhelmingly favor one party. FiveThirtyEight, owned by ESPN, is Nate Silver's (Editor in Chief) website that focuses on, among other things, opinion poll analysis, politics, and economics.

Paul Frymer is Professor of Politics at Princeton University, CSDP faculty associate, and Director of the Program in Law and Public Affairs.
