Chaya Crowder, first-year CSDP/Politics PhD student, provided expert testimony in Sacramento, CA on behalf of AB 2707, the "Stop Consumer Racial Profiling Act of 2016." Crowder testified on the discriminatory loss prevention techniques employed by retailers based on her report "Stitched With Prejudice: Zara USA's Corporate Culture of Favoritism," published through the Center for Popular Democracy.
